Allow time for the castle
The castle and museum form one stop. Steps and the number of open galleries affect the visit; do not assume every gallery is accessible.
Ask which galleries are open at the ticket desk.

The harbour castle, remains of Halicarnassus and peninsula shores
Castle, theatre and western gate · 09:00–13:20 · Includes uphill stops

Tuesday–Sunday. Allow 40 minutes for the uphill walk from the castle to the theatre; at Myndos Gate use only the accessible surroundings.
Castle and Gümüşlük · 09:00–16:00 · Includes uphill stops

Take lunch after the castle, then drive to the windmill hill. Transfer separately to Gümüşlük for a shore walk; the return to Bodrum is outside the displayed duration.
Marina to Kumbahçe · 17:00–19:00 · Level walking
Public waterfront streets only; marina piers, museum interiors and swimming are outside this plan. In November–February, sunset is around 17:30; move the outdoor stop to daylight hours.

Walk within the centre, using a short taxi ride for the theatre climb if needed. Gümüşlük is roughly a 20–25 km road trip; timing depends on the route and traffic.
Choose somewhere near the start of your walk; confirm room and transport details with the property.
Lunch break
Exposed stone surfaces become hot in summer; allow water and shade breaks. Visit the windmill hill before darkness.

The castle is listed as open daily, the theatre every day except Monday. Choose Tuesday–Sunday for the half day with the theatre.
Current mausoleum admission information remains unconfirmed.
Gümüşlük is not an extension of the central streets. The full day reserves separate time for lunch and the vehicle transfer.
Arrange the return vehicle in advance.
Walk on public streets from the marina area towards Kumbahçe; there is no need to enter piers or boats.
This plan includes neither swimming nor a boat trip.
Expect stairs and outdoor passages; ask about your access needs and open galleries before entering.
Take the uphill approach and steps slowly; cross the main road only at safe crossing points.
This appears only in the full-day plan; allow generous driving time for peninsula traffic and the return.
Follow pavements and road crossings; assume separate permission is needed to board a boat or enter a pier.
