Head west from the centre towards Gümüşlüce Caddesi on foot or by local transport. Allow for slopes when combining it with the castle area.

The complex associated with Şeyh Şaban-ı Veli comprises a mosque, tomb and wooden lodge houses. Mansion facades facing the courtyard and the arrangement of small buildings show the scale of religious life on this hillside. It remains a place of pilgrimage and worship.
