HISTORY & ARCHITECTURAL CONTEXT

Built in 1910 as a club for the Committee of Union and Progress, the building has served as a museum since 1952. Archaeological objects and stone finds in the garden bring together different periods of the Kastamonu region. The facade itself reflects the town’s early-20th-century civic life.
