PRACTICAL ACCESS & WALKING METHOD
About 8 km east of the centre. Take a city bus or taxi towards Lara; it is not a short detour on foot from Kaleiçi.
HISTORY & ARCHITECTURAL CONTEXT
The Düden River drops from the cliffs directly into the Mediterranean on the Lara coast. Also called Karpuzkaldıran, the falls can be seen from the coastal park and are separate from Upper Düden inland.
