HISTORY & ARCHITECTURAL CONTEXT
The lodge grew around Mevlâna’s tomb, built in 1274, and opened as a museum in 1926. Beside the green dome, dervish cells, the ceremonial hall and kitchens illustrate Mevlevi life. Follow the flow of visitors at the tomb, then pause in the courtyard.
